Questions

The questions we are asked most often.

For anything else, email the club.

Do I have to be in Wharton?

No. WUAC is a Wharton-recognized club, but membership is open to every Penn undergraduate.

Do I need an engineering background?

No. The work is commercial, financial, and policy work, and members pick up the technical vocabulary as they go.

What does the client work involve?

Two practices. Consulting advisory takes a strategy or operations question. Financial advisory covers valuation, market sizing, and capital markets.

What is the time commitment?

General body attendance is as much or as little as you want. Committees expect steady weekly work during an engagement, and the load is heaviest close to a client deadline or a competition submission.
